š¤ Chest strap heart rate monitors (ECG) ā Maximum accuracy
A chest strap like the Coospo H808S uses an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor. This directly registers the electrical signal of your heart rate, making it extremely accurate, even during peak exertion or interval training.
- Highly accurate (comparable to medical measurement)
- Long battery life (up to 300 hours)
- Reliable for intensive sports such as cycling or HIIT
Disadvantages: slightly less comfortable, needs to be tight for accurate measurement.

š Armband heart rate monitors (optical) ā Comfort and convenience
The Coospo HW9 measures your heart rate using optical sensors (LED light). You wear it on your upper or lower arm, which is more comfortable than a chest strap ā especially during longer sessions or strength training.
