How to use your sensor correctly and avoid problems
Do you use a heart rate monitor or speedometer for running or cycling? Most problems arise from incorrect pairing, no reset, or using an unsuitable app.
Which product do you have?
- Heart rate monitor (chest strap or armband)
- Speed or cadence sensor for your bike
Note: The sensor does not have a screen. Data is always displayed via an app or sports watch.
First Use
- Activate the sensor by wearing it or moving the bike
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone
- Always pair the sensor via the sports app, not via Bluetooth settings
Recommended apps
- Apple Health
- Samsung Health
- Strava
- Runkeeper
If the sensor doesn't work in one app, always try another app first.
Common problems
Sensor does nothing: often not activated.
Connected, but no data: check app and Bluetooth permissions.
Incorrect heart rate: wear the chest strap snugly and slightly moist.
It worked before: reset the sensor.
Troubleshooting
- Remove the battery from the sensor
- Wait 30–60 seconds
- Reinsert the battery
- If necessary, try another app
